• Caught and released from my kayak Monday 10-18 off Ditch Plains, Montauk about 2 miles out...Perfect weather conditions...Huge schools of bass and blues during this 4 hour
session had 30 bluefish 5 to 12 pounds and a dozen bass ranging from schoolie size, teens, a few low 20's and the one pictured was high 20 to low 30 but I was to spent to be a partial judge...All fish were caught on 007 jig with green tube on light tackle rig...I took pic of me holding fish, gotta love the waterproof camera...I was surrounded at one point by birds and had fish bouncing off the kayak...Unbeliveable
• I only catch and release if you want to know. This fish was released by Peter Holsinger in Moriches on October 19th. I know it does not show going in water, but I fish alone so I have only 2 hands to hold and take pic, she was cradled in my arms since she was around 15, then I slid her out in the water.

 • (This Trophy Bass was caught and released on July 10th 2010 in the Fire Island Inlet about 1mile off the beach ) on this evening, Fishing the bunker pods in the inlet brought us the best fishing day my fishing buddies and I have ever experienced in our lives. Every Striped Bass we caught were over 35lbs. All together we caught and released 30 Striped Bass in 2 hours… Plus we had a nice show of the whales breaching ..
