We got together for a seafood fest at the Peconic River Sportsman's Club. Me and George Rigby in this shot after we were stuffed on good food.
And the appetizer, about 6 dozen clams on the half to get things started. They were so good we couldn't stop eating them.
A real great time with some great guys.
Before the meal we shot three rounds of 5-stand and had a ball.
George's Chesapeake pup "Skimmer" decided he liked the clams on the half real good. He robbed a half dozen from us and gobbled them up. You can tell he is going to be a great water dog.
All preped and ready to go. Notice the generous dousing with spicy crab seasoning.
This is the way it should look when done. Clams just opened up and all the juices mixed together.
Here is Pete removing the liner from the steam pot. Big smile on his face. I wonder why.
What a pile of food. This is the only way to go. Steam it up all together, add some crab seasoning and dump it onto newspaper for the chow down.
Here we have Pete and Joe adding a little "BAM" to the finished product.
Fro left to right we have Joe Cassiani, Pete Johnston, Jim Conte and George Rigby. Here they are chowing down on steamed crabs, clams, kielbasa, corn and potatoes.
What a feast.
