skimmer > This is a good shot of Bridie patiently waiting for us to take down a bird so she could fetch it. She made a couple of tremendous retrieves swimming almost a hundred yards out from the beach and bringing the bird right to our feet. She is a really good dog and Bill takes good care of her and has trained her well. She really loves to hunt and is good company.

I hunted today with Pete Nowinski, Bill MacDougal and his dog Bridie. We had a great day of hunting under pleasant conditions. We bagged our limit of broadbill, bufflehead, mergansers and also a nice drake pintail. We hunted both from the shore and from a layout "scooter" on the open bay. The birds were really flying in the morning and all had a good time. This is a shot of us heading home towing the "scooter" with a beautiful sunset in the late afternoon. Another great day of outdoor adventure.
skimmer > This is a shot from the other day. Harry and Bill ready to release a small Goliath Grouper (jewfish). This is just a baby. They grow up to 700 pounds. They can swallow a man whole when fully grown. They are protected and cannot be kept.
skimmer > This is a shot of joe working a nice fish that he plugged. It was a lot of fun.

I fished today with Gary Arnold and his clients Bill Scotti and Joe Mangiapanello. We had a good day fishing with live bait and plugs. The wind was howling 30 to 40 knots which made fishing tough to say the least. All were good sports and dealt with the conditions. We ended up with a great catch of 13 bass, most 18 to 22 pounds and a few 12 to 15 pounds. The plugging was excellent. The ride home was not. And by the way, Bill Cancel, we really missed you and wish you were with us. RRRRRRIIIIIIGGGGGHHHHHHTTTTTT! It was good fun with good guys. Another memorable day on the water.

I fished with John Dall and his father Bill today. It was tough on the weather side early in the day. We plugged for bass and had four fish on. We boated one and pulled the hook on the others. The fish was pretty nice at about 22 pounds. It was pretty good action for the conditions. We had a good time and it was great to finally see the sun after a week of rain.

Today I fished with Jim Fischer better known as "Hooch" and his buddies Rich and Bill. We had a great day of bass fishing on the schools of bait in the ocean. We had eight fish up to 38 pounds. All the fish were big, over 25 pounds. It was a lot of action and a fun day of fishing. Needless to say, the guys had a good time.

I fished with Gary Arnold and his buddies Bill and Jerry. We had a great day of fishing against tough weather conditions. The wind blew a steady 15 knots all night and continued into the morning. It made spotting bait tough. I managed to catch a bunch of bait and we fished them as best we could. We caught 8 bass up to 38 pounds and broke off another half dozen. This is a photo of Bill with his 38 pounder. All smiles.
skimmer > Jerry, the guy on the right was high hook for the day with about 4 fish for himself. I won't say anything about Gary. We had some laughs and a good time. It was a memorable day of fishing.
