This is Deena Rhoades of
World Prep inc. They manufacture totally self contained emergency kits. These kits contain medical, safety and survival gear in one orderly compact unit. It comes in various sizes for the proper application in small or large boats. The price is very reasonable.
The show also featured hundreds of vendors with all types of products both related to boating and/or just plain interesting and unique. Here I am talking to Dieter Marker of
WEMA-SYSTEM. He manufactures stainless steel senders for liquid holding tanks including fuel systems. An integral sliding float makes this unit light years ahead of any other senders on the market and they only cost a couple of bucks more than all the other junk on the market. My gas gauge still doesn't work right so I am going to change to one of these senders in the near future.
A night time shot of Espanola Way at Washington and 16th Street. This was Friday night 2/18. On the weekend evenings, jewlery vendors set up along restaurant row. You can have a fine meal in restaurants offering varied cuisine of many nationalities.
Tim and I got hooked on the Sushi Bar at
AKAIRO restaurant. Benny and his assistants prepared wonderful sushi and sashimi for us and we ate with gusto. It was a great evening.
This is Cynthia who was our bar maid at the
Winterhaven hotel. She was a lot of fun and made great martinis. She is working to put herself through school. She made the evening very memorable.
Captain Al Lorenzetti
Back at the Martini Bar of the
Winterhaven hotel we met a great bunch of people and had some drinks and laughs. It was a perfect end to a great day.
