I fished today with Artie Cipoletti and his good buddy Ray.
We fished live bait and plugs and caught a few fish on both.
Fishing was not hot today but the weather was beautiful. Lots of bait around but not a lot of fish on them.
We caught some fish and had a good time. Ray caught two and they were his first two striped bass. Congratulations Ray! Artie had a nice fish on a plug.
We fished on Artie's 38 Fountain today.
Here is Ray working a fish and having fun.
It was another good day on the water catching some fish.

I fished today with Kevin Ryan and his buddy Scott.
We had a great day of striped bass fishing on a most beautiful fall day.
Here is Kevin with his beautiful 25 pound bass taken on a Gary Soldati Blackfish plug. The fish was real tough and took about 10 minutes to get to the boat. He took it on a 9 foot Rogue surf rod SU 905S with a Shimano 12000 Thynnus reel and 20 pound Sufix hi-vis yellow line.
Great fish and great fight.
Here are Scott and Kevin with some nice fish.
We totaled at least 10 fish today with most on bait and 3 on plugs. We released all but three nice ones for the table.
It was a fun day with beautiful conditions which is a great change from last week.
Another great day on the water.

I fished today with Gary Arnold and his clients Phil and Bert.
We had a great day of fishing for striped bass with 15 fish to 24 pounds and most of them on plugs.
Here is a fish slamming a plug
Phil is working the fish to the boat using a 9 foot Rogue surf rod and Shimano Thynnus reel with 20 pounds test hi-vis yellow Sufix line.
Captain Al taking the fish into the boat. This particular fish was on a blackfish plug made by Gary Soldati. It was hot today but so were the Gibbs Danny plugs.
Here is the crew from the left, Gary Arnold, Philip and Bert.
We had a great day with lots of action and it was especially good having all the surface action with the plugs.
Another great day on the water and today it was even sunny with no rain. Oh Boy did I love it.
