I fished today with Sal DeMarco and his girlfriend's son Tim.
We had a good half day of fishing with three fish on plugs up to 17 pounds.
The weather was a little damp early in the morning and then got nice later.
Sal and Tim were all prepared for the weather and worked the plugs well.
We fished bait with no action at all.
Plugging is the best bet right now until some new fish move in. I hope it will be tomorrow.
Here is Tim showing off the nice catch of fish. He is a real great guy and loves to fish. We had some laughs and he is a good sport. The best to you Tim in the future and all your fishing endeavors. It was a pleasure fishing with you and Sal today.

I fished today with Mike Amendola and his buddies Glen and Paul.
We had a great day of bass fishing with over 20 fish on plugs. Six of the fish were in the 20's and most 15 to 20 pounds.
Here is Glen with a nice fish about 22 pounds.
These guys are real sportsmen and released every fish we caught. All were in good shape and will be biting again tomorrow.
Here is Mike with a nice fish about 23 pounds. He had the hot hand today and was really banging them up.
Tony didn't get an opportunity to get into a photo. Sorry Tony!
Another banner day on the water with some good fishermen and great fishing.

I fished today with Jeff Tait, a neighbor of mine and his brothers Ryan and Greg, left to right.
We had a real good day of striped bass fishing with about 8 fish up to 26 pounds
We had one fish on bait and the rest on plugs. We found them good late in the day and had a blast with fish hitting the plug right next to the boat.
Here is the crew of brothers with their fish.
They had a good time and so did I. The weather was rotten but the fishing was good. Sometimes it works like that.
Another good day on the water with some hard core fishermen.

I fished today with Bob and Dave, left to right.
We fished bait and plugs. The plugs worked better for us today than the bait. Bob and Dave are good fishermen and did well throwing the plugs. Overall it was a slow day of fishing but we did have some good action on the plug with fish up to 20 pounds.
My guess is that the big tournament on Tuesday, the Riverview took its toll on the fish in our area. We need a new body of fish to move in which should happen any day now. The fishing is far from over.
Today was a beautiful day to be on the water. A little chilly in the morning but then it warmed and was sunny and with calm winds.
Another great day on the water with good guys.

Thanks to all who attended Marine Max and Fisherman seminar. Captain Al spoke about live bait fishing and plugging for striped bass.
