The Hotel Buena Vista Beach Resort is located near the bottom of the Baja California Peninsula. Only 45 Minutes from the Los Cabos Airport.

Traveling to the Hotel Buena Vista Resort was easy despite the fact that there are currently no direct flights from JFK.

Continental, American and US Air currently fly to Los Cabos, but you have to transfer in either Houston or Phoenix.

The resort is on the Sea of Cortez, the body of water between mainland Mexico and the Baja Peninsula. Meals are served on the terrace, over looking the spectacular water front view.

Relax at the private beach, where the sea temperature is very warm, in the mid eighties.

The heart of the resort is the pool. We left New York by 7am and were relaxing at the swim-up bar by 3pm local time.

The water at the resort is supplied by natural springs in the area and is safe to drink right out of the tap.

The spring water comes out of the ground at approximately 140 degrees, and instead of hot water heaters, the resort uses a water chilling systems.

The sea water is gin clear with fine sand. You won’t have any bothersome vendors coming up to you as you’re relaxing at the resort.

After breakfast is served you can work your way down to the beach where your fishing boat is awaits. The dock master will have your cooler packed for you, with your lunch and beverages of your choice.
