This is a sand island off Cape Romano which is south of Marco Island. This is where we fished most of today. The island was covered with white and brown pelicans and all sorts of terns and gulls. It is really a pristine habitat. The snook and redfish and some spotted trout hang out in the troughs that surround these sand islands. Today was a very beautiful day with lots of sun and quite warm.
