I fished today on my last trip of the season with my long time friend Rick Ramsay and his buddy Kevin Ryan left to right.
We had a good day on the water with what I now call the newest version of the "Great South Bay Slam". The "Slam" now consists of blackfish, scooter (sea duck) and striped bass.
We fished a small piece in the ocean for five keeper blackfish and then set up for sea ducks. We had a couple of bunched of ducks come in and bagged two.
We then went back in the bay and fished bass with eels and caught one bass about 17 pounds and dropped another.
That was out day and it was a good one for this time of year. The wind layed down and it was a beautiful afternoon.
A fitting end to the fishing season with good guys and good weather. An other excellent day on the water doing what I love to do.
